The 29er sailing year kicks off on 22nd September with the 1st Harken Grand Prix at WPNSA. If you haven’t entered already then please do sign up now. We have a great weekend in store.
This is a squad selection weekend so we will enforce our “no coaching rule” for all applicants applying to RYA Youth Squad and Class National Squad strictly. If you want to apply to either of these squads then please go to the RYA or 29eruk.ourclubadmin.com website.
After sailing we have 2 brief talks: A “welcome to the Class” from our chairman which will tell our newcomers all about the class, what we offer and how to get involved in training etc.; and some past 29er sailors who are now in 49ers who will discuss their experiences of life after 29ers and what they learned.
Following this we have a meal laid on at WPNSA and the bar will be open. You can choose from either Chilli or Curry with a dessert, and tickets cost £10.50 each. This should be a great opportunity to say hello to old friends and meet new people.
