Grand Prix 1

• It would be on the same course as the main fleet but would have a separate start after the other fleet has started.
• There would be a shorter upwind mark.
• There would be a dedicated coach who would be able to give advice during the racing as well the normal briefings.
• Look to use masthead floats to ensure energy levels can stay as high as possible.
• All of the above would be included in the entry fee.
• Those in 'Transition' fleet will be ranked below those in main fleet, the same as how silver fleet would be ranked below a gold fleet

For those who are looking to qualify for Class Development Fleet, competing in the transition fleet does not preclude you from  selection as CDS is discretionary.

For those looking to qualify for Class National Squad, selection is results based so we would advise you to compete in main fleet.
